BRIDGE is a two-day event filled with learning and networking opportunities, aimed at fostering collaborative partnerships within the African diaspora to help grow gospel movements in Africa and beyond. A group of highly respected and influential global mission leaders from the US and Africa are joining forces to discuss strategic missional engagement worldwide.

The registration fee includes admission to all consultation plenary sessions. It also covers lunch on both days. Participants can attend missiological engagement groups. There are also panel discussions with leaders from across Africa.

Plenary Speakers

Dr. Femi Adeleye is an internationally renowned New Testament scholar, teacher, author and leader for the global church. Femi B. Adeleye serves as the Africa director for Langham Preaching. He is also the director of the Institute for Christian Impact (ICI). This initiative aims to nurture a new generation of leaders. Their goal is to impact Africa with kingdom values. Originally from Nigeria, he spent more than 30 years in leadership with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). Femi is an alumnus of Wheaton Graduate School, University of Edinburgh, and the Akrofi-Christaller Institute of Theology, Mission and Culture in Ghana (PhD). Femi is an honorary vice president of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) and serves on the international board of the Lausanne Movement


Bishop Tony Dunn’s ministry emphasis is purpose discovery and fulfillment, and also leadership and personal development. He routinely conducts leadership development workshops in North America, Central America, South America, and Europe. He also conducts workshops in Asia and various countries on the African continent. The Dunn’s launched New Day Christian Fellowship in Corona, California in 2009. The church currently supports 11 missionaries all around the globe. They oversee the spiritual direction of 51 churches and ministries. These are located in North America, South America, Asia, and Africa (The New Day Global Network). Bishop Tony Dunn and his wife Jacqueline have been married for over 38 years. They are the parents of three adult sons, two beautiful daughters-in-law, and two amazing grandchildren.


Dr. Mehari Korcho serves with One Challenge International as a mission strategist for diaspora churches in the United States. He coaches and trains diaspora families and church leaders to effectively navigate their intergenerational dynamics. He also equips young people to engage in church revitalization and planting movements in the USA. Dr. Korcho has a PhD in intercultural studies from Columbia International University, South Carolina, USA. He lives in Colorado with his wife, Naz, and their two daughters.


Prof. Elizabeth Mburu (PhD) is the Regional Coordinator of Langham Literature in Africa. She is also an Associate Professor of New Testament and Greek at Africa International University, Kenya. She pursued her doctoral studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, NC, USA. She serves as the coordinator of the Africa Bible Commentary revision project and is the New Testament Theological Editor. She is also an editor on several projects. She serves on various editorial boards in Africa and internationally. Her research and publishing interests focus on the New Testament and Bible Translation. She is also interested in Intercultural Hermeneutics, as well as Culture and Worldview Studies. She is from Kenya.


Peter Oyugi serves as a mission catalyst and mentor within the Movement of African National Initiatives (MANI). In MANI, he coordinates diaspora ministry in Europe. He leads a mentoring program for emerging leaders in Africa. He is also part of the South to North Africa Partnership Leadership Team. Peter leads the African conversation of Majority World Christian Leaders Conversation (MWCLC). He also serves on the leadership of MWCLC. He hails from Kenya and previously served African Inland Mission (AIM), UK in different mission capacity. He also served on the Lausanne Europe Executive Team advising in matters related to diaspora ministries. He was the pastor of a church in London. Before that, he worked as a student worker among university and college students in both Kenya and the UK.
