If you want to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord, you will have to follow his instructions, which will frequently take you to areas that are foreign, uncomfortable, dark, and lonely. Even when we are aware that God is with us, our hearts still long to know the ultimate purpose of everything that is going on, particularly the question of where it will ultimately go.
Trusting the Lord with the specifics of the journey is an important component of having faith in him. Our mission is to put on our walking gear, grab our hats, and begin moving forward in faith one step at a time. A trust in Him that is so thorough that our steps are certain; not certain about the ground beneath us, but certain about the One who is responsible for laying the ground beneath us.
If you follow his example, you will see a wall up ahead and have to walk through it. Seeing a sea of problems and being able to walk on water if He is in charge. avoiding allowing what we see, think, or feel to divert our attention. Instead, we should put our whole faith and dependence in Him at all times. He will direct your steps! He has given his word!
When we put trust in God, there is no requirement for us to know the path ahead of us or to see the end. He will guid us. He will make the way plain, as we go.
Lord, I want to trust Your with all of me. My heart faints — my mind tries to work things out – but my soul desires to trust only You. Teach me Your ways of TRUST. Show me how to give ALL to You – to walk when You say it – to stop when You say it – to turn when You say it. Give me a heart and a mind that is ever turned toward You – so that I may trust in Your promise to guide me always!
I want this “A trust in Him that is so thorough that our steps are certain; not certain about the ground beneath us, but certain about the One who is responsible for laying the ground beneath us.”
Thank you for this word
